Biographies

  • Henry Peyrebrune joins CityMusic Cleveland in June 2024 as Interim Managing Director. His experience includes many years as a bassist in The Cleveland Orchestra, where he also spent eight years as a major gifts officer. He has served as Executive Director of Credo Music in 2017-2018, and has led the board of NoteWorthy Federal Credit Union since 2010. He also serves on the board of the League of American Orchestras.

    A graduate of New England Conservatory, he has served as Principal Bass of the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Canada) and the Portland Symphony Orchestra. He has taught at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory, the Longy School of Music and the University of Southern Maine.

  • Based in Cleveland Heights, Em Laudeman Ezell is delighted to be part of the team at CityMusic! Em received her BFA in music theatre from Elon University and her MPA in nonprofit management from Indiana University. As a performer, Em worked professionally in theatre for 15 years where she performed in 27 different musicals across the United States. Since 2013, she's worked in administration and advancement for various arts organizations around the country, including The Cleveland Orchestra and the San Diego Symphony. Em also serves on the board of the Friends of Cain Park. She is the mom of 1 human and 3 dogs, and she enjoys making music, being outdoors, and reading a good book (among other things!)

  • A native of Garrison, New York, flutist Kimberly Zaleski (she/her) has dedicated her career to performing, composing and teaching music. An active promoter of chamber music, she is the Touring Flutist with “David Arkenstone and Friends,” a five-piece band that performs music throughout the United States composed by five-time Grammy-nominated composer, David Arkenstone. She is a member of the North Coast Winds, Cleveland's Premier Woodwind Quintet and is also the Co-Founder of the flute, cello, and percussion trio, IN2ATIVE, known for their engaging performances of original compositions. Kimberly is a Performing and Teaching Artist on the Roster of the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning Agency.

    Ms. Zaleski is the Principal Flutist of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra and Second Flutist with the CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra and has performed with The Cleveland Orchestra, Blossom Festival Band, The Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Akron Symphony, Toledo Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, New World Symphony, and Canton Symphony. She is a substitute musician for The Pittsburgh Opera, Columbus Symphony, and West Virginia Symphony. Ms. Zaleski was a finalist of both Astral Artists Musical Agency and Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble ACJW Program at The Juilliard School. She holds the distinction of being the first piccoloist on the nationally broadcast radio show, "From the Top."

    Ms. Zaleski was a student of Renee Siebert, the former Second Flutist of The New York Philharmonic throughout her high school years. In addition, she studied at the Juilliard School under the instruction of Bradley Garner before pursuing her Bachelor's at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University as a student of renowned soloist, Marina Piccinini. She is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music where she received her Master’s Degree as a student of Joshua Smith, Principal Flutist of the Cleveland Orchestra.

    In addition to her performance career, she holds the title of Adjunct Professor of Flute at The College of Wooster, and Assistant Lecturer of Flute at The University of Akron, and has given performances and masterclasses at Arizona State University and Penn State University.

  • Amanda Chambers (she/her) is a creative specialist and graphic designer based in Lakewood, Ohio. She is also a barista at West Park's favorite neighborhood coffee shop, 5 Points Coffee & Tea. She is an avid fan of the Cleveland music scene and enjoys listening to instrumental and orchestral music in her free time.

    Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design and creative writing from Cleveland State University. Her hobbies include reading and writing poetry, baking, and spending time with her two cats, Pumpkin and Luna.

  • Chuck Krenner is a violist, arranger, composer, and artist, from St. Paul, MN. Chuck attended the Cleveland Institute of Music where he received his bachelor’s degree in performance on the viola. He studied viola with Thomas Turner, Mark Jackobs and Jeffrey Irvine. Chuck has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the South Dakota Symphony, the Toledo Symphony and the Pittsburgh Symphony. From 2016-2018 he was associate principal for the South Dakota Symphony.

    Currently Chuck is a member of Minnesota Sinfonia as a violinist and violist, and he subs regularly with the MN Opera. He was a violist with CityMusic from 2005-2019 and has been doing artwork and graphic design for them since 2008. Chuck is an active freelancer around the Twin Cities and teaches violin and viola privately in St. Paul, MN. His artwork can be found on chuckkrenner.com.
